The guy next door.
You just moved into your new home with your puppy named Sam. After the last day of moving all your belongings, you dozed off with Sam on your bed without any bed covers. The next morning after washing up, you started settling down all your belongings. After settling down half of your stuff, you decided to catch a breath. You walked to the balcony with a cup of coffee, enjoying the scenery. You looked to your left and saw a guy staring at you from head to toe. You stared back at him and you came to realize that you only had your oversized hoodie on you. You blushed and said, "Uh, hi." He bit his lips, "Hey. Umm, I'm Yifan and you must be my new neighbour. I heard from the landlord that it was a pretty lady who bought the unit next to mine, indeed you are truly a beauty." "Oh, that's very nice of you. I have to get back in to settle the rest of my stuff, talk to you later." You replied awkwardly. "Hey hey wait, maybe I could be of help to you? If you don't mind? I can come over to help." He offered. You didn't know how to reject him so you nodded. You hurriedly went back to your room and put on a pair a shorts before opening the door for him. When you opened the door, Sam jumped onto him. "Awww, he's so sociable and friendly. What's his name?" He asked. "His name is Sam." You invited him in and offered him a glass of water. He thanked you and took a sip of water before asking you where to start from. "I was just thinking that you could put Sam over at my place while we get your stuff settled. My friend's dog can keep Sam company." He suggested. "That was thoughtful, thanks." After putting Sam over at his unit, both of you started unpacking your stuff. While you were mopping the floor, you almost slipped. Luckily, Yifan was able to grab your waist just in time. Your eyes and his eyes met. When you managed to regain your balance, you immediately cleared your throat and stood up. Then, continued mopping the floor, blushing. Both of you didn't utter a word for a long period of time. Suddenly, his phone rang and he walked over to your balcony to answer the call. "Oh, you're here already? Okay, I'm coming over." He replied. He turned to you and said "I have to go now, I have guest. I can come over tomorrow if you don't mind." You smiled back and said, "Sure, you're really kind. Thanks." He left and while you were taking a bath, you felt something was missing. It was really quiet.
